Haha, I came here to suggest Ambient Chaos, but then I saw that it's what the Tumblr post linked under "background noises to write to" is about. Maybe still useful to add a direct link to the site in case the post o blog gets deleted, idk.

Another neat background noise/music site is Lo-Fi Air Traffic Control, where you can mix lo-fi music with the ATC from a random airport or an airport of your choice. Not only useful for writers.

Do not stop at the posters, though, because the final contributor at that link went through and said, FYI, if I put a red ! by it, it's poisonous. (Which you still might want to give it to a character, you do you!)
